Couples in Bury St Edmunds wanting to tie the knot by having a civil ceremony or partnership are now able to share their big day at the Athenaeum.
Ceremonies, similar to those conducted in a register office, can take place in the prestigious building’s Old Billiards Room.

The Athenaeum Bury St Edmunds is located in the Angel Hill close to the Cathedral and Abbey Gardens. This beautiful Grade 1 listed building is now open throughout the year for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The venue is licensed for Civil Weddings and Partnerships from 40 to 235 guests and Banqueting and Receptions for up to 160 guests.
